When it comes to selecting a woodburner, also known as a pyrography machine, there really is no bad choice.
Woodburners range form inexpensive single-temperature burners that resemble a soldering iron, usually available for less than $40, up to high-end variable-temperature burners with digital readouts and dozens of tip shapes.
Any woodburner can be used to create beautiful work. However, it may take a little more time with the soldering-iron type.
